Catching up

In this life I live now, I am torn constantly.  The current job I have is SUPER busy and the Perch is moving forward.

We have run into a few glitches, as any construction project will.

Because the location we are in is quasi-residential and pretty old, we do not have access to 3-phase power.  We are lucky that we bought our system locally and the manufacturer is re-tooling the thing to work on single phase (well, dal, but...)  If we had purchased off the rack, we would have been in heap plenty big trouble.

We have new bird cages which are very nice. People, understand this-  many birds can live to 70 years.  If you get the bird when you are 30 (or 40, or 50, or 60, or 70...)  It may out-live you.  Often, you will not have relatives or friends who wish to care for a bird.  Then, they are taken to a rescue facility which tries to find a home.  The Perch has a BUNCH of rescue birds, about 60 of them actually.

The building is looking GREAT!  We hope to have the pub open for thirsty guests around November 15th.
